I finally broke down and picked up a copy of “The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini. I've heard from so many people, including my mom and several friends that it was an excellent book. I had to see what all the fuss was about!
I just bought that and his new book, A Thousand Splendid Suns. I am trying to hold off on reading them until my trip. I have heard great things about both of them.
